Abstract
Lapping has great effect on reducing the differential noise. However, technological investigation about the effect has not been done until now. This paper shows that PCM setting of lapping machine is the most effective factor on the 2nd harmonic of differential noise and that vibration force simulated from measured tooth form data has a good correspondence with the measured vibration level.
