Abstract
The deflection of the plastic gear is larger than the deflection of the metal gear. These deflections greatly influence that calculation, when the strength of plastic gear is regarded as an exothermic reaction. In this calculation, all calculation has been handled in the static deflection. However, the dynamic deflection becomes actually a problem. In this study, in the first, this research examined theoretical calculation and the experiment method of static and dynamic deflections. Next, the result which compared static deflection with dynamic deflection was described. The equilibrium temperature of the tooth of plastic gear was calculated and was compared as an application.
