Abstract
Conventional production system simulators are mainly applied to the automated lines. But they are not available to so called human-oriented production system U-shaped line, because it is difficult to model worker behavior in such lines. This paper proposes a new modeling method of woker behavior for production line simulation. Behavior of workers are expressed by transition graph with nodes having three elements of "behavior", "machine" and "time". Our modeling method are applied to some U-shaped lines with production system simulators, and its effectness are shown.
