Abstract
This paper proposes a prototype of discrete event simulation for supply chain system analysis. Designing of supply chains requires system evaluation methodologies that enable supply chain planners to estimate various types of operational scenarios. The proposed simulation can represent information processing flows, which include demand predictions, operational orders, data monitoring operations, besides operations in traditional manufacturing system simulations. The simulation system analyzed several supply chain system operations, which are based on the actual system specifications and operational scenarios.
