Abstract
To pursue sustainable technology as a key responsibility for manufacturing all over the world, we have proposed a prototype system for evaluating and supporting a decision on life cycle engineering (LCE). For this purpose, giving a whole framework on the G2 software that is known as a development environment for intelligent applications, we have built a product life cycle model based on object-oriented approach as one of its element technologies. Then to deal with the multidisciplinary nature of the problem-solving, we provide a development environment for integrating a variety of element technologies by the aid of distributed information technologies. Through a case study associated with the multi-objective analysis regarding the plastic wastes, we have examined the plausibility of the approach.
