Abstract
This paper deals with evaluation of ease of assembly for mechanical system. In order to realize the evaluation, RRV and wavelet analysis of RRI have been investigated. Some assembly experiments using a table system with unidirectional assembly concept have been carried out. Through the experiments, the level 3 information of wavelet analysis has been found to be useful for evaluation of assembly. Furthermore, (i) assembly from left and right side and (ii) concurrent assembly operation have been observed to be difficult.
