Abstract
In this paper, an algorithm for line balancing considering parts allocation is proposed Line organization is generally composed of line balancing, that is time allocation, and of parts allocation, that is space distribution. It is necessary to consider them simultaneously to make working hours even and to make parts allocation visible and workable. Yet, there is no paper considering them simultaneously. This paper aims to overcome this drawback by taking into consideration situation where the increase in variety causes lack of space for parts.
