Abstract
New reengineering method based on a certain theoretical reason is required in order to improve and change the current production preparation process. We have studied the process reengineering methodology for production preparation. This paper shows the software support system for reengineering the production preparation process, which has been developed through the case study. The user interface of the developed system is the Microsoft Excel, with which the engineers are very familiar. They can describe the required knowledge for the system, with the relation diagram and the matrix formulation. Furthermore, the basic idea for the developed support system is introduced in this paper.
