Abstract

In our study, we propose a distributed cooperative approach for flexible flowshop scheduling. This method breaks up the system into sub-schedulers, and they integrate as a single system. Since each scheduler needs only local information, it is effective to apply the large production system. Our target model includes lot formation problem, so we apply the method that each sub-scheduler optimizes not only own local schedule but lotsizing to the model. We compare our method with conventional distributed cooperative method, and show the effectiveness of the proposed concept.
