Abstract
On the production site, the productivity of the system decreases because uncertain events of the machine breakdown, tardiness of parts supply, etc. are generated intermittently. In this situation, the bottleneck process will change hour by hour. In this study, it is assumed that the bottleneck, which traditionally has been detected beforehand by considering the product mix, can be dynamically managed. The changing bottleneck is detected based on the event data of uncertainties which is sent from PLCs. As a result, it improves the efficiency by updating the bottleneck and changing the order releases. In the experiment, a system is developed for connecting the automated production line with floor supervisor, and adjusting the situation flexibly and reliably.
