Abstract
Critical Heat Flux (CHF) in a non-uniformly heated tube is very important factor in designing boiling two-phase flow systems. In this series of investigation, the re-distribution of liquid film was considered as the significant factor of the CHF in a vertical upward non-uniformly heated tube. On the basis of the experimental results using by the 45 degree inclined heating channel, the one of influence factors of the redistribution of liquid film was the gas volumetric flux. In this present study, to obtain the knowledge about the re-distribution of liquid film, the experimental investigation on the CHF under the angle of inclinations varying 15, 30 has been conducted, and the results were compared the previous results. The CHF characteristics were explained in term of the re-distribution of liquid film.
