Abstract
As the effective operational methods of Fuel Cell Co-Generation System (FC-CGS) to curtail thermal power generation, Daily Start and Stop operation during the peak time of power demand is proposed. To evaluate effectiveness of those proposed operational methods, the model of daily load curve in each season is made. Then, CO_2 emission reduction rates, utilized capacity of FC-CGS, and improvement effect on daily load curve by adopting proposed operational methods to FC-CGS are assessed quantitatively. In the result, by adopting 9 to 22 operation to FC-CGS, the highest CO_2 emission reduction rates and improvement effect on daily load curve are obtained.
