Abstract
It was clarified that the transportation of latent heat evolved by melting and solidifying the latent heat microcapsules. Exerted on strong influence on the natural convection heat transfer in the latent microcapsule layer. The numerical results revealed quantitatively that the natural convection heat transfer depended on the concentration of microcapsule slurry, temperature difference between the heating and cooling walls, and width of the rectangular cavity.
