Abstract
This paper describes development of the New Orbiting Laboratory for Thermo-fluid Engineering Science, "NOLTES", which is a test cell for FPEF to be installed in Japan Experiment Module (JEM) of International Space Station. The target of NOLTES is to investigate boiling and twophase flow under microgravity conditions for both scientific and technological points of view. Test sections for flow boiling in a tube, bubble dynamics in liquid flow, two-phase flow dynamics, flow boiling in narrow channels and flow boiling in microchannels are planned. The outline of test loop with interchangeable est sections and layout design to fit for FPEF are described.
