Abstract
In this research, power difference during dynamic elbows flexion between bilateral and unilateral elbow movement was investigated in young males. We prepare two devices that measure torque of subject and generate an isoviscous load. The torque of the both elbows was measured separately. As experimental conditions, both sides of the viscous load ware were set to be the same and different. We compared there results with the case of only one elbow flexion. The viscosity was change as (3.0, 5.0, 8.0, 12.0, 20.0, 30.0 [Nm/(rad/s)]). As a result, bilateral deficit was larger in the rapid motion. Especially strong interference of torque was seen in the right elbow. These phenomena were reported by the early studies .However facilitation was seen newly under different load conditions in this study. This facilitation accrued only on the left side. There results suggest the factor of the brain is greatly related in bilateral deficit.
