Abstract
Numerical simulation of heat and fluid flow has been performed to analyze the generation of the self-excited oscillation in thermoacoustic phenomena. Transient one-dimensional equations of continuity, momentum and energy were solved utilizing the TVD scheme. A simple physical model is used for the numerical simulation. In this paper, we analyze the behavior of pressure in a tube. As a result, it was found that the initial oscillation is important for generating self-excited oscillation.
