Abstract
From a viewpoint of energy saving and environmental problem, a waste heat recovery system is noticed and developed in industrial and marine fields. We have tried to develop a marine heat recovery system with a 3 kWe Stirling engine generator, and installed it to an electric propulsion ship in 2011. In this paper, we discuss a new-type heat recovery system using the Stirling engine generator and thermoelectricity generating modules to have more high performance system.
