Abstract
It is known that knocking is pulled out by a rapid local thermogenesis and pressure rise at the high-load operations and the output is limited. Therefore, avoidance of knocking must be resolved before HCCI engines can see widespread application. This work was conducted with 4-stroke HCCI engine to investigate the correlations between knocking generation and fuel mixing ratio, rate of heat release, IMEP, maximum pressure rise rate, Ringing Intensity.
