Abstract
The present study has been conducted entropy analysis on a saturated R134a vapor flowing through and condensed in horizontal condenser for heat pump using sewage as heat source. The flow condensation heat transfer performance is dominated by the phase change process as low mass flux and by two phase flow convection as high mass flux. There exists an optimum mass flux, cooling temperature, and flow area ratio of shell and tube that results in minimum of entropy generation.
