Abstract
The aim of the present study is to clarify the flow characteristics of the narrow gap between the inner rotating cylinder and the stationary coaxial cylinder which simulates the geometry of the rotor and the stator of an electric vehicle (EV) motor. In the present study, the flow of the rotor cylinder surface is visualized with Kalliroscope flakes. The particles are injected in the gap between the rotating rotor and the stator at filled water. As a result, it is suggested that brightness of all of rotor cylinder face is early decreased by increasing of Re number.
