In gas turbines, molten droplets of dust and ash adhere and solidify on the surface of the turbine blades and endwalls. Although this deposition phenomenon deteriorates the turbine performance, the mechanism of this phenomenon has not been clarified sufficiently. In this study, the deposition phenomenon was investigated by means of three-dimensional numerical simulation using moving particle method considering heat conduction of the wall. We confirmed that, using the present method, the temporal variation of the diameter and wall temperature can be estimated quantitatively from the comparison between experiment and present results.
