Abstract

Source of error in measurement of heat flux sensor using a Peltier module (PHFS) was experimentally and numerically investigated. A series of measurement tests using a cone heater was carried out. It is confirmed that the estimated heat flux was overestimated when the temperature difference within the module was not zero. It is suggested the excess heat flux is generated due to the overcurrent through the module under the condition.
