Abstract
The paper discusses the robot sensing technology in terms of improving robot functions and performances. Four topics are introduced including precise measurement and calibration of a parallel mechanism, force control algorithm exploiting a commercially available force/torque sensor, micro task with micro hand and vision system, and mobile robot & its application. These works are based on the author's own research activities.
