2206 Study on the Stabilization of Railway Vehicles with Independently Rotating Wheels by Control of Steering on Wheelset : 1 Axle Trailer Bogie

Abstract

Some theoretical investigations are carried out to stabilize the dynamic motions of a vehicle with independent rotating wheels by control of steering on wheelset. The equations of motion are derived and root locus are analyzed. It is cleared that with control of steering, stabilization of vehicle is capable and the influence of the feedback coefficient on the characteristics of stabilization.
