Abstract
Recently, many Japanese heritage railways attract social interest and is supported by many people. But, continuation of these heritage railway's management has many complex problems. The most important problem is the succession of technology and skill of maintenance for rolling stock to the next generation. In this report, 1) Outline of an Japanese heritage railway given an example, 2) Working contents of maintenance and repair for rolling stock, 3) Consideration and proporsal for succession of technology and skill to the next generation, are explained.
