Abstract
The authors have been presented the possibility of piezoelectric elements attached on the car body for vibration suppression of railway car body by their previous research. However the strain of car body should be transmitted to the elements effectively and piezoelectric elements should be attached and detached easily in terms of set up and maintenance in practical use. In this study, attachment methods of elements are suggested and the strain analysis of each suggested method is done by FEM. The result shows that the member strains hardly in the method of attaching elements to member shaped C cross section. From this result, method of connecting elements on blocks directly instead of members is investigated with various condition.
