Abstract
This paper discusses about driver's information processing on vehicle following condition. Driver's information processing is led from relation of inputs and driver behavior. Therefore we constructed a driver model which was able to reproduce a driver behavior from environmental information and vehicle information. And the driver model constructed by a neural network system built causal association in that structure. Next we analyzed that structure to express the driver's information processing using factor analysis. Then, we showed important information for the driver on driving. Finally, we showed differences of driving characteristics from the fluctuation of driver's information processing. Then we constructed models in each situations and showed difference a performance function.
