Abstract
This paper describes an approach of "IT Barrier-Free Project for Aged and Disabled" which commissioned by METI and NEDO. This project builds up a device attached cell phone, and standardizes a guidance system that helps aged and disabled person move safety, correctly and quickly. The device has seamless utilization and miniaturization of various existing support systems, using GPS, infrared rays, FM waves, or RFID. Additionally, this has applications to PICS, such as telling the status of traffic lights and extending the green signal duration.
