Abstract
This paper presents the effective and practical method for experiments of comfort evaluation of trains using a motion simulator. The experimental plan was considered from various viewpoints such as cabin vibration condition, the questionnaire sheet, passenger situation, reality and total efficiency of the experiments. From the experimental results, it was confirmed that even in the same vibration condition, the tendencies of evaluation differed, and that the tendency of the change of evaluation differed according to the change of vibratory and constant acceleration, by subjects' body posture - sitting, standing, and walking.
