Abstract
Recently, customers' sense of values and demands diversifies and customers request more comfortable cabin space. In our new high-speed test train "FASTECH360S", it aimed at the achievement of the car interior that satisfied customer's demands, and the more comfortable space for the future was developed. This paper reports on the application of ideas for more comfortable cabin space, for example, a concept different in each car applied to the cabin interior design in order to suit each customer's comfort and a new concept applied to the new sanitary space for customers' comfortable space. For more comfortable atmosphere of the cabin space, we developed three types air-conditioning system that had a humidifying and a dehumidifying function. And we had comparison tests of the air-conditioning system of three types. In addition, we had tests of air-conditioning control system through wireless local area network from personal digital assistant for more usefulness.
