Abstract
When a pilot approaches to a runway, usually, he changes the speed of the aircraft to a lower speed in the backside region. In such a speed area, a flight-path stability of aircraft falls into unstable. However, it was not organized how the characteristics and the manipulations change with variation of the induced drag component. This paper considered that how the fright characteristics and the way of control have changed under varieties of drag component due to transformations of the wing aspect ratio. Then, it was confirmed that the flight-path stability and the flight speed stability became worse. Moreover, the pilot has controlled the aircraft like a quadratic function to hold the flight-path.
