Abstract
This paper described the examination of the advanced control technology application to the trailer part of a largesize special semi-trailer for the mutual accordance with the tractor equipped with high level ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System). The vehicle to study is equipped with the steering system of the trailer axis with an actuator with the high response performance that in recent years supply increases to. We proposed control method to make up for high driving skill required by a driver of the articulated vehicles including the off tracking of the vehicle which became the problem at middle low speed running. Furthermore, we described a vehicle dynamics simulation system for the suggestion of the autonomous driving control system of the trailer vehicle and some evaluations.
