Abstract
Tokyo Metro owns many sharp curved metro lines. When vehicle passed that kind of curves, both wheels and rails are worn. The wear of wheels and rails increase a risk of the derailment. To solve this problem, oil application devices are installed on the curves. However, it couldn’t be a drastic solution. To conduct an efficient maintenance, it needs to grasp a tendency of the wear of wheels and rails. Therefore, in this research, the relationship between wheels and rails is inspected in terms of the degree of the wear. To grasp that relationship would be helpful when it comes to realize condition based maintenance.
