Abstract

On the Tokyo Metro, strain gauges are attached to the rails of service lines to measure lateral force and vertical force between wheel and rail. Research on bogie anomaly detection was being conducted by calculating the bogie twist from the measured vertical force. But there was problem that the variation of bogie twist was large. The bogie twist is determined by the vehicle specifications, and it is difficult to think of the factor of the variation. So in this study, we investigated the cause of the fluctuation of the bogie twist and it turns out that it may be affected by wheel-rail contact points which are affected by lubrication condition.
