Abstract
The cross flow plate heat exchanger manufactured easily by only folding plates was considered. This heat exchanger can be manufactured without waste. Forming heat transfer surface into wavy, dimpled, or etc. by rolling make heat transfer improved. In this paper, the heat transfer surface is shaped into crossing wavy surface. Changing the angle of the apex, measurement of local coefficient of heat transfer and pressure loss and visualization of flow were made. The effect of shape of wave was made clear.
