Abstract
In this research, we aim at using the human hand waving motion to direct the robot motion. Fist the hand motion is measured and analyzed to obtain the directionality features. Next, a system is built in which the directionality features of hand waving are used to decide the motion of the virtual object displayed on the screen. Using this system the subjects successfully moved the virtual object at their will.
