Abstract
A numerical experiment using the finite element method based on elasticity theory to show that the nondimensional dynamic buckling pressure of shallow and nonshallow elastic isotropic clamped spherical caps subjected to suddenly applied uniform pressure is a function of central height, thickness, and radius of caps.
