162 Prediction Models for Machining Accuracy for end mill and their applications

Abstract

Prediction models for machining accuracy for end mill are introduced in this paper. Especially, two prediction models of a machining error due to a tool deformation and a surface property due to a runout and a tool vibration are described. A feasibility regarding the machining process analysis is demonstrated through some examples.
