Abstract
Today, the business is kept in the pressing and complex situation on the environmental problems. EU Directives pertaining to the environmental conservation will be prescribed strictly next year. Furthermore the strict environmental regulation rules regarding removal of hazardous substance, arrest of global warming and elimination of CO_2 emission are enforced recently. The most important countermeasure to cope with this situation is to tighten control over the design system to eliminate the environmental risks. Especially the design for recycling is indispensable. To promote this design, it is necessary to establish the design standards in the firm. In this paper the problems of the recycling design and the standardization of the company are discussed.
