Abstract

Comprehensive learning is learning in which the learner discovers the "problems" to be solved in the surrounding environment, region, society, and era, and sets the problems and methods.

The process of problem inquiry may traverse the systematically arranged content of the subject area, or it may go deeper into subject area learning.

Engineering education is based on the attitude of constantly repeating verification and improvement of technology, performance, design, and quality in order to realize a better life and society. We will consider the significance of the existence of "integrated study" in the liberal arts course before studying engineering as a major, from contemporary practice.
