Abstract

In our contemporary, highly technologically driven society, the significance of science and technology cannot be overstated, as they have become integral components of both individuals' lives and society. Nonetheless, there are instances where science and technology can pose potential threats to both people and the broader society. We are well aware of historical issues like pollution, and concerns regarding the future implications of science and technology, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence, have arisen. In this presentation, I will delve into the realm of engineering ethics. This field should not only centers on the conduct and responsibilities of engineers, who hold a pivotal role in ensuring the harmonious coexistence of science and technology with humanity and society, but also extends its focus to encompass the ethical considerations of non-professional who strive to create a more ideal society.
