Abstract
The blood pressure is an important index from the diagnosis in the hospital to the health care in the home. Especially real-time blood pressure change is valuable information. However, there is no machine that can readily measure it as if it wore clothes to the body yet. Then, we aim at the construction of the hemadynamometer to be able to detect the pulse pressure change in real time and not to multiply the load by the measurer. The pressure sensor, which works as a main part for hemadynamometer, has been developed. The pressure sensor with strain gauges will be fixed lightly though the skin to the brachial artery. Pressure is detected by using the tonometry method. First of all, the structure of the pressure sensor that has the resolving power within the range of about 0.5mm is examined by FEM, and we designed linear array pressure sensor with cantilevers (0.5×4.3×0.1mm). In addition, the prototype of the sensor was produced, and the characteristic tests were conducted. As a result, the utility to practical use was suggested.
