Abstract
In this paper, a standing - sitting support system is outlined and evaluations for the system is described. This system was developed for the elderly and people who temporarily have physical depressions. The system was evaluated using a questionnaire and moment around a lumbar and knees. The results of questionnaire demonstrated that 65 percent of subjects were able to feel the system's effectiveness. The estimated moment around the lumbar demonstrated that the system was able to diminish the moment in standing motions. As a result, it was found out that the standing - sitting support system can assist users' standing sitting motion sufficiently.
