Abstract
We described a 44-year-old male with candidial infection of the oral mucosa and extra oral involvement of fingers, nails, toes. He was also suffered from florid oral papillomatosis with a squamous-cell cancer of the lip. The skin lesion was successfully treated with itraconazole at 200 mg/day for 2 months. This therapy produced a rapid cure of both candidal nail and mouth infections. The tumors of the labial and oral mucosal sites were removed by wide scalpel excision. The lips were reconstructed by plastic surgery. 4 months after surgical intervention no recurrence nor metastasis to lymph nodes or distal sites were observed.
