Abstract

It was shown that thermal fatigue properties of HK40 and 25Cr-35Ni centrifugal cast tubes for petro-chemical industry degrade due to the change of the material properties when used at elevated temperature of about 1000°C.
Based on our study performed with the laboratory aged materials, such degradation of thermal fatigue properties of used materials can be estimated from their tensile properties.
