Abstract

An investigation was made on the method of removing water vapour from humid air under the gauge pressure of 0∼3kg/cm2 at a normal temperature by using Itaya-zeolite composed mainly of clinoptilolite.
Approximately -50°C dew point air could be obtained by a two-cylinder small-sized pressure swing device.
Itaya-zeolite showed an excellent pressure swing adsorption property compared with the commercial adsorbents, such as synthetic zeolites and silica gel. Thus it is useful for the development of a small-sized water vapour removing apparatus.
