Diagnosis for hereditary small vessel disease

Abstract

Genetic testing for hereditary cerebral small vessel disease (SVD) has been covered by health insurance in Japan since 2022 and is now available through the Kazusa DNA Research Institute. This presentation provides an overview of the critical aspects for optimal utilization of genetic testing in SVD.
