Abstract
COVID-19 worldwide pandemic was caused in 2020. Live entertainment industry suffered great loss and expanded movement for live distribution over the Internet. In this paper, we examined business model of paid live streaming platform for entertainment industry using case method, and examined it by comparing with business model of subscription video on demand service.
As a result, it was found that, in business model of paid live streaming platform, author plays major role and platforms provide various services for him/her. Furthermore, multiple paid live streaming platforms build collaborative business model to realize large-scale distribution.
