Abstract
X-ray emitting large-scale cosmic plasmas associated with galaxy clusters are described. Recent X-ray observations made with the Japanese X-ray observatory ASCA suggest that the plasma is being heated when the galaxies move randomly within the cluster potential, and interact with the plasma.
