The scalar potential in quasi-toroidal coordinate is derived by successive approximation methode, and the accuracies of its near axis expansion are discussed.. The potential is obtained of a form as Φ= (1+ (r/a) cocsψ) -1/2, H (r, ψ, ζ), where H is the solution of the inhomogeneous Bessel's differential equation.
